Down day to work!

Oswego lighthouse on Lake Ontario
We left Wrights Landing in Oswego early Thursday morning and went to go stick our nose in lake Ontario, then quickly turned around and head back down the Oswego Canal toward Brewerton, NY to meet up once again with our friends Jeff and Sandy.  They were waiting for us at a small marina called Ess-Kay.  It was a great family owned marina and boat yard.  They had a great set up. About 10 transient docks, a loaner car which we used to go to town to do laundry and some grocery shopping.  They had a gift store (where we picked up a couple of things) and a great lending library.  You drop off a book you have read and pick up one you haven't.  Thursday was a long cruising day with 8 locks and 8 hours of cruising.  When we arrived at the marina Jeff and Sandy were waiting at our dock ready to grab our lines and pull us in.  Sandy also insisted that we come to their boat for dinner since we had such a long day of cruising.  Boating people are wonderful.

We spent most of Friday catching up, on laundry, cleaning, boat chores, (like cleaning the canal crud off the props (see picture) and yes we got some relaxing in to.  Made some new friends, shared a couple of meals with old and new friends and met some new furry friends.

This will be a short post but lots of pictures.  It's been a long day and we are exhausted.  We are getting an early start in the morning and heading our way back west on the canal.

Same view the next morning.

I think Jeff was trying to talk Mike into cleaning off his props too.
