Sewing projects

Mike left this afternoon for the lake to work on the boat for a couple of days.  Since most of the things I have left to do are is sewing I opted to stay home, besides the fact I have to work on Tuesday.  So I spent the afternoon working on place mats and coasters.  I know that may sound like a menial project but it will help to keep the first mate a little more sane.  I love my household "stuff" like cloth napkins, place mats, things that make a house a home or now makes a boat a home.  So with some of the leftover cushion fabric and the fabric I used to make fender covers with and some fabric paint I made the coasters and place mats.  Tomorrow I will start on covering the cushions for the forepeak and making pillows that will store our bedding for the forepeak.
